Just as Chrome extensions enhance the capabilities of Chrome, there are useful widgets available to add to your Notion.
To help you sift through the clutter, I’ve compiled a list of my top 7 Notion widgets below:
Pomodoro Timer by Flocus

This timer widget follows the Pomodoro Technique, offering three modes: Pomodoro, Short Break, and Long Break.
There’s also an option to change the duration of the different timer modes. Additionally, there is a built-in set of background themes to match your aesthetic.
Radar Chart by ChartBase

Notion now has native charts, but it is missing a type of chart known as a radar chart or spider chart.
It’s helpful to show how something measures up in several areas all at once. An example is the Wheels of Life assessment.
To create a chart in ChartBase, first connect your Notion workspace and select the database you want to use. Then, you’ll have the option to choose a property for the X and Y axes. Finally, you can customize the colors and labels to your liking.
Instagram Grid Preview by Grace and Grow

This widget allows creators and social media managers to preview their Instagram feed in Notion.
It’s great for visualizing your content calendar and seeing exactly how your grid will look before posting.
There’s also an optional pro version that allows you to preview your Canva designs or images directly from external links.
Life Progress Bar by Indify

Making the passage of time visible can be daunting for some, but motivating for others.
If you’re in the latter group, this widget helps you visualize your year, month, week, day, or quarter.
For life progress, you can simply enter your birth date and expected lifespan to track your journey through life.
Countdown Widget by Widgetly

This live countdown widget is perfect for keeping track of upcoming events, launches, or offers.
Simply input the target date and embed it onto your relevant Notion page to watch the countdown.
Daily Quote by Notion Sparkles

This widget displays a random quote each day to enlighten, challenge, or inspire you.
Just as most physical journals and digital journaling apps feature a quote of the day, you can now include a quote of the day in your Notion journal setup.
Digital Clock by Stef

This widget is likely intended for a small group of users.
If you frequently use Notion in full screen mode, it can be convenient to have this widget embedded in your Notion page to easily check the time.
I appreciate its simple design, as it’s not meant to be distracting.
How to embed widgets to Notion

Copy the link to the widget.
Go to the Notion page where you want to embed the widget.
Type “/embed” to add the embed block.
Paste the link and click “Embed Link” to add it.
You now have everything you need to level up your Notion pages with widgets.
