3 Simple Ways to Get Ahead of 99%

2 minutes read

Point 1: Be selective about what you consume.

Many people passively watch or consume whatever is recommended to them or whatever is popular on Netflix. Avoid becoming enslaved to algorithms whose sole purpose is to capture your attention. Instead, take control by identifying an area of life you want to improve, such as philosophy, productivity, finance, or business.

A good way to consume is by subscribing to a newsletter or picking up a book.

Point 2: Prioritize creation over consumption.

Most of what you learn ends up going to waste. The application of knowledge is often forgotten in the process, even though we feel good about what we learn from the internet and social media. You don't find success in consuming valuable information without creating something out of it.

It's never too late to start because many people want to be creators but end up remaining consumers.

Point 3: Unwire your limiting beliefs.

You need to believe that you can become the person you want to be. It takes awareness to overcome your unconscious limiting beliefs, and it takes time to build the confidence to keep leveling up. Every time you make progress, you might start questioning if you truly deserve your accomplishments or if you have reached your limit.

But remember that most limitations exist only in your mind, and you need to overcome them first, rather than comparing yourself to others.

Tech of the Week: Save to Notion

One of my favourite Chrome extensions is Save to Notion.

I frequently use Notion for various purposes, such as managing my personal life and running my business. If you already use Notion for note-taking and learning, you will greatly appreciate this extension for seamlessly capturing content into Notion.

The best part is you can have pre-configured forms to save and organize the same type of materials with ease.
